Today, I'm taking one of my dearest girlfriends on her first Northumberland Hills Studio Tour. I can hardly wait!! I've been enjoying this event for the past few years, and always look forward to this weekend. One of the reasons is because I have the opportunity to reconnect with some of the wonderful folk I have met through the SVFF, and the other reason is because I love driving around the hills of Northumberland.
Today is a special day for me because I'm sharing this experience with my friend. I'm happy to take her on the tour, because she will be just as amazed as I was about the fact that there are so many talented artists in our area. We are very blessed. Maybe it's the picturesque hills, the beautiful fields, or the fact that Lake Ontario is always peeking out from views to the south. I've already mapped out the places I want to check out, and she is doing the same.. wonder if we will pick the same ones?
